Sold at the upper estimate price
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work TWO LITTLE SWIMMERS by Khoo Sui Hoe. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 12,185.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Khoo Sui Hoe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2015 the work Calling Coocoo Riverside was auctioned for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,667.09).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit TWO LITTLE SWIMMERS von Khoo Sui Hoe zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 12.185,67) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Khoo Sui Hoe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2015 die Arbeit Calling Coocoo Riverside für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.667,09) versteigert.
