Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lovers by the River by Khoo Sui Hoe was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,973.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Khoo Sui Hoe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2015 the work Calling Coocoo Riverside was auctioned for HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,667.09).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.973,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Khoo Sui Hoe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2015 die Arbeit Calling Coocoo Riverside für HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.667,09) versteigert.
