Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian black Vase Iii by Kevin Lincoln was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 9,000.00 (€ 5,253.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kevin Lincoln have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2009 the work Australian Mauve was auctioned for AUD 14,400.00 (€ 8,466.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Australian black Vase Iii von Kevin Lincoln wurde im August 2008 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 9.000,00 (€ 5.253,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
