In the An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection auction, the work The Abbey Ruins, Tilty, Essex sold for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,763.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by Kenneth Rowntree have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grove House, Levisham Evening in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,599.97).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kenneth Rowntree erzielte im September 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion An Aesthetic Odyssey: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection wurde die Arbeit The Abbey Ruins, Tilty, Essex für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.763,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kenneth Rowntree auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grove House, Levisham Evening im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.599,97).
