Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shapes In Movement II by Kenneth Rowntree was auctioned at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,242.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Kenneth Rowntree have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grove House, Levisham Evening in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,599.97).

Die Arbeit Shapes In Movement II von Kenneth Rowntree kam im Juli 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.242,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kenneth Rowntree auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grove House, Levisham Evening im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.599,97).
