In April 2001 Christies in Melbourne held the auction CONTEMPORARY ART, which included this untitled work by Ken Whisson. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 49,350.00 (€ 28,339.82), 23% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ken Whisson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 48,000.00 (€ 28,915.03) in November 2007 for the work Australian Earth, Houses And Vehicle.
