Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Fukuyama, Factory, Forest, 1999 by Ken Whisson. The price achieved of AUD 23,370.00 (€ 20,705.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Ken Whisson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Australian Earth, Houses And Vehicle was auctioned for AUD 48,000.00 (€ 28,915.03).

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in Sydney die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fukuyama, Factory, Forest, 1999 von Ken Whisson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 23.370,00 (€ 20.705,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ken Whisson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit Australian Earth, Houses And Vehicle für AUD 48.000,00 (€ 28.915,03) versteigert.
