Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Chicago 1973' (From History Of Photography) by Kenneth Josephson for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,255.13). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Josephson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Ken Josephson' in October 2009 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,707.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Chicago 1973' (From History Of Photography) von Kenneth Josephson für USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.255,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Josephson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Ken Josephson' im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.707,56).
