Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2004 Christies in Sydney held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Oberon Track by Ken Johnson. The price achieved of AUD 10,157.50 (€ 5,895.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Ken Johnson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2005 the work Dual Focus was auctioned for AUD 11,950.00 (€ 7,246.40).

Im August 2004 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oberon Track von Ken Johnson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 10.157,50 (€ 5.895,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ken Johnson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2005 die Arbeit Dual Focus für AUD 11.950,00 (€ 7.246,40) versteigert.
