The work Magnetic Plane by Ken Johnson was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. It achieved a price of AUD 5,975.00 (€ 3,593.80), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ken Johnson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dual Focus, which sold at auction in April 2005 for AUD 11,950.00 (€ 7,246.40).

Die Arbeit Magnetic Plane von Ken Johnson kam im April 2006 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 5.975,00 (€ 3.593,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ken Johnson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dual Focus beobachtet, die im April 2005 für AUD 11.950,00 (€ 7.246,40) versteigert wurde.
