The work Totem by Keith Haring was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Sothebys in London in March 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 120,973.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).

Die Arbeit Totem von Keith Haring wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 120.973,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
