Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hayes Valley Project by Keith Coventry was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,077.78) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Keith Coventry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nice - Vue de l'Escalier le Sage, which sold at auction in January 2020 for GBP 65,000.00 (€ 77,316.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hayes Valley Project von Keith Coventry kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.077,78) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Keith Coventry mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nice - Vue de l'Escalier le Sage beobachtet, die im Januar 2020 für GBP 65.000,00 (€ 77.316,78) versteigert wurde.
