It achieved a price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,696.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Coventry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nice - Vue de l'Escalier le Sage in January 2020 with an auction result of GBP 65,000.00 (€ 77,316.78).

Die Arbeit Byron’s Sofa (from the series Echoes of Albany) von Keith Coventry kam im November 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.696,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Coventry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nice - Vue de l'Escalier le Sage im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 65.000,00 (€ 77.316,78).
