Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work A Still Life with Bottles by Kees Verwey. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kees Verwey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De Stoel In De Zon (Atelier Impressie) in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 82,250.00 (€ 39,533.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life with Bottles von Kees Verwey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kees Verwey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De Stoel In De Zon (Atelier Impressie) im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 82.250,00 (€ 39.533,19).
