Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Kazuo Shiraga was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 304,800.00 (€ 35,688.96). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazuo Shiraga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Takao in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 8,731,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kazuo Shiraga wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 304.800,00 (€ 35.688,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazuo Shiraga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Takao im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.731.400,00.
