Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Ritsu by Kazuo Shiraga. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 825,500.00 (€ 99,828.63), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazuo Shiraga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Takao in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 8,731,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ritsu von Kazuo Shiraga zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 825.500,00 (€ 99.828,63) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazuo Shiraga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Takao im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.731.400,00.
