Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Blue Desert by Kazuo Shiraga. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 6,048,000.00 (€ 724,919.84), 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazuo Shiraga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Takao in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 8,731,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Blue Desert von Kazuo Shiraga zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 6.048.000,00 (€ 724.919,84) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazuo Shiraga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Takao im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.731.400,00.
