Hirshhorn: Collector for A Nation - An Online Sale auction, the work Two Plants sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,974.44) - well above the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kazuo Nakamura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Core Waves No. 3 in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 94,500.00 (€ 68,867.76).
