In May 2011 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Landscape; Before The Storm; Landscape by Kazuo Nakamura. The result of CAD 6,000.00 (€ 4,308.01) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazuo Nakamura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Core Waves No. 3 in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 94,500.00 (€ 68,867.76).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape; Before The Storm; Landscape von Kazuo Nakamura zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CAD 6.000,00 (€ 4.308,01) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CAD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazuo Nakamura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Core Waves No. 3 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 94.500,00 (€ 68.867,76).
