The work Rushing Wind by Kazuo Nakamura was auctioned at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2010. It achieved a price of CAD 11,400.00 (€ 8,517.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by Kazuo Nakamura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Core Waves No. 3 in November 2011 with an auction result of CAD 94,500.00 (€ 68,867.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rushing Wind von Kazuo Nakamura kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in Toronto zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CAD 11.400,00 (€ 8.517,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kazuo Nakamura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Core Waves No. 3 im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 94.500,00 (€ 68.867,76).
