Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Small Fridge #4 by Kaz Oshiro was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in New York in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,211.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kaz Oshiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work File Cabinets (black/black), which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Small Fridge #4 von Kaz Oshiro wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.211,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kaz Oshiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit File Cabinets (black/black) beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert wurde.
