In April 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Untitled (From The Poughkeepsie Journal) by Katy Grannan. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,694.05), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Katy Grannan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Anonymous, Los Angeles, which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).

Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (From The Poughkeepsie Journal) von Katy Grannan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.694,05) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Katy Grannan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Anonymous, Los Angeles beobachtet, die im April 2015 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68) versteigert wurde.
