Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Katja Strunz could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Day Sale auction, the work Fall Into Space changed hands for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,687.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Katja Strunz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work WHITE SPIRITUS (BACKVIEW) in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,116.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Katja Strunz konnte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Fall Into Space für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.687,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Katja Strunz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit WHITE SPIRITUS (BACKVIEW) im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.116,65).
