In May 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Leonora by Kati Horna. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,664.36), 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Kati Horna have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 20,000.00 (€ 12,853.47) in May 2008 for the work Portrait of Leonora Carrington.
