Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Actopan, Hidalgo Hacienda by Kati Horna was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,284.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kati Horna have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Portrait of Leonora Carrington was auctioned for USD 20,000.00 (€ 12,853.47).

Die Arbeit Actopan, Hidalgo Hacienda von Kati Horna kam im November 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.284,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Kati Horna konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Portrait of Leonora Carrington für USD 20.000,00 (€ 12.853,47) versteigert.
