Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two Fifties by Kate Brinkworth was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2009. It achieved a price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,701.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kate Brinkworth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Green and Gold Dice, which sold at auction in June 2009 for GBP 18,125.00 (€ 21,269.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two Fifties von Kate Brinkworth kam im Oktober 2009 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.701,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Kate Brinkworth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Green and Gold Dice beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für GBP 18.125,00 (€ 21.269,08) versteigert wurde.
