This artwork by Karl Peter Röhl achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May this year. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Composition sold for USD 16,380.00 (€ 15,374.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Karl Peter Röhl; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot „O.T. (Große Frankfurter Folge, Blatt 15)“. sold at auction in May 2019 with the realized price of EUR 26,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Peter Röhl erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Composition für USD 16.380,00 (€ 15.374,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Karl Peter Röhl; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit „O.T. (Große Frankfurter Folge, Blatt 15)“. im Mai 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 26.250,00.
