Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karl Nordström could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Rock and Tree changed hands for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,084.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Nordström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 19,111.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Nordström konnte im Juni 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wechselte die Arbeit Rock and Tree für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.084,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Nordström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 175.000,00 (€ 19.111,07).
