Despite a disappointment, a good price for Karl Nordström
When the work "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) by Karl Nordström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 200,000.00 – 250,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 175,000.00 (€ 19,111.07). Despite this disappointing result, "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) is the most expensive artwork by Karl Nordström that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Karl Nordström
Als die Arbeit "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) von Karl Nordström im Juni 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 175.000,00 (€ 19.111,07) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Karl Nordström, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
