This artwork by Karl Nordström achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2019. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Scene from the coast sold for SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,189.36) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Karl Nordström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 19,111.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Nordström erzielte im Juni 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit Scene from the coast für SEK 44.000,00 (€ 4.189,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Nordström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 175.000,00 (€ 19.111,07).
