Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karl Nordström could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work Hôtel Laurent, Grez changed hands for SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,682.10) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Karl Nordström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) in June 2011 with an auction result of SEK 175,000.00 (€ 19,111.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Nordström konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wechselte die Arbeit Hôtel Laurent, Grez für SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.682,10) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Nordström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Skymning Hallandskusten" (Twilight over the coast of Halland) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 175.000,00 (€ 19.111,07).
