Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nursing The Newborn; And Three Peasants And A Sleigh by Karl Ivanovich Kollman was sold in the RUSSIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in London in November 2004. The price achieved of GBP 2,868.00 (€ 4,125.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,400.00 – 3,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Ivanovich Kollman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A military band; A peasant seated on a cart; Three Hussars; Refreshment for the horses, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,063.00).

Die Arbeit Nursing The Newborn; And Three Peasants And A Sleigh von Karl Ivanovich Kollman wurde im November 2004 in der Auktion RUSSIAN PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.868,00 (€ 4.125,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.400,00 – 3.200,00 angegeben worden.
