Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sleigh-Ride Through A Russian Town by Karl Ivanovich Kollman was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2012. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,619.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Ivanovich Kollman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A military band; A peasant seated on a cart; Three Hussars; Refreshment for the horses, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,063.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sleigh-Ride Through A Russian Town von Karl Ivanovich Kollman wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.619,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Ivanovich Kollman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A military band; A peasant seated on a cart; Three Hussars; Refreshment for the horses beobachtet, die im Dezember 2005 für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.063,00) versteigert wurde.
