Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work A Procession Of Maidens by Karl Ivanovich Kollman. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,024.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Karl Ivanovich Kollman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2005 the work A military band; A peasant seated on a cart; Three Hussars; Refreshment for the horses was auctioned for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,063.00).
