In the Russian Paintings Day Sale auction, the work Three Scenes Of Rural Russia sold for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,050.22) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Karl Ivanovich Kollman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A military band; A peasant seated on a cart; Three Hussars; Refreshment for the horses sold at auction in December 2005 with the realized price of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,063.00).
