Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Four Genre Portraits Comprising: A Watercarrier And A Washerwoman; Two Peasant Women In Conversation; Two Young Street Vendors; Two Young Street Vendors With Brushes And Buckets by Karl Ivanovich Kollman. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,250.00 (€ 5,235.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Ivanovich Kollman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A military band; A peasant seated on a cart; Three Hussars; Refreshment for the horses, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,063.00).

Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four Genre Portraits Comprising: A Watercarrier And A Washerwoman; Two Peasant Women In Conversation; Two Young Street Vendors; Two Young Street Vendors With Brushes And Buckets von Karl Ivanovich Kollman zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.250,00 (€ 5.235,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
