Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction RUSSIAN PICTURES, which included the work At The Inn; And Hay Barge by Karl Ivanovich Kollman. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,824.00 (€ 5,500.80), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Ivanovich Kollman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A military band; A peasant seated on a cart; Three Hussars; Refreshment for the horses, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,063.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion RUSSIAN PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Inn; And Hay Barge von Karl Ivanovich Kollman zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.824,00 (€ 5.500,80) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Ivanovich Kollman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A military band; A peasant seated on a cart; Three Hussars; Refreshment for the horses beobachtet, die im Dezember 2005 für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.063,00) versteigert wurde.
