In October 2010 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Autumn Sale, stockholm, which included the work Sailingboats at the west coast, Sweden by Karin Parrow. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 45,000.00 (€ 4,829.06), 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karin Parrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Strandservering, Marstrand", which sold at auction in April 2016 for SEK 100,000.00 (€ 10,881.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sailingboats at the west coast, Sweden von Karin Parrow zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 45.000,00 (€ 4.829,06) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Karin Parrow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Strandservering, Marstrand" beobachtet, die im April 2016 für SEK 100.000,00 (€ 10.881,92) versteigert wurde.
