The auction ended at the price of SEK 300,000.00 (€ 32,303.55), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 250,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Karin Broos have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work 'Den röda soffan 2' ('The red sofa') was auctioned for SEK 500,000.00 (€ 42,344.81).

Die Arbeit "Tjärn 2" von Karin Broos wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 300.000,00 (€ 32.303,55) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 250.000,00 – 300.000,00.
