In March 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work The Bolshoi Theater, dreamland, at night 9 pm, 3am, Moscow by Karen Kilimnik. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,667.51), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karen Kilimnik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Prince Albrecht at Home at the Castle on School Break in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 337,250.00 (€ 390,302.74).

Im März 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bolshoi Theater, dreamland, at night 9 pm, 3am, Moscow von Karen Kilimnik zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.667,51) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karen Kilimnik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Prince Albrecht at Home at the Castle on School Break im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 337.250,00 (€ 390.302,74).
