Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Hunting Dogs by Karel Dujardin was sold in the Old Master Prints auction at Christies in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,236.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karel Dujardin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travelling Musicians in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 457,000.00 (€ 307,930.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Hunting Dogs von Karel Dujardin wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.236,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karel Dujardin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travelling Musicians im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 457.000,00 (€ 307.930,73).
