In the Old Masters Online auction, the work An Italianate Landscape With Two Peasants And Horses Near Ruins changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,176.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karel Dujardin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travelling Musicians in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 457,000.00 (€ 307,930.73).
