Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Studies Of Sheep by Karel Dujardin for GBP 500.00 (€ 564.19). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper Online at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karel Dujardin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travelling Musicians in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 457,000.00 (€ 307,930.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Studies Of Sheep von Karel Dujardin für GBP 500,00 (€ 564,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper Online bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karel Dujardin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travelling Musicians im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 457.000,00 (€ 307.930,73).
