Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings Sale, which included the work Italian Landscape With Herdsmen And Animals By A Stream by Karel Dujardin. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,882.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karel Dujardin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travelling Musicians in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 457,000.00 (€ 307,930.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian Landscape With Herdsmen And Animals By A Stream von Karel Dujardin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.882,46) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karel Dujardin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travelling Musicians im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 457.000,00 (€ 307.930,73).
