Ramanujam was sold in the The India Sale - South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Mumbai in December 2016. The auction ended at the price of INR 1,500,000.00 (€ 20,896.51), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of INR 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Man and Nature); Untitled (Queen); Untitled (Palace Scene) is the most expensive artwork by K.G. Ramanujam that we have observed at auctions so far.
