Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work My Dream World by K.G. Ramanujam was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. It achieved a price of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,933.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by K.G. Ramanujam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Man and Nature); Untitled (Queen); Untitled (Palace Scene), which sold at auction in December 2016 for INR 1,500,000.00 (€ 20,896.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit My Dream World von K.G. Ramanujam kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.933,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von K.G. Ramanujam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Man and Nature); Untitled (Queen); Untitled (Palace Scene) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für INR 1.500.000,00 (€ 20.896,51) versteigert wurde.
