Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Dream) by K.G. Ramanujam was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,400.41). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by K.G. Ramanujam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Man and Nature); Untitled (Queen); Untitled (Palace Scene), which sold at auction in December 2016 for INR 1,500,000.00 (€ 20,896.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Dream) von K.G. Ramanujam kam im September 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.400,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von K.G. Ramanujam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Man and Nature); Untitled (Queen); Untitled (Palace Scene) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für INR 1.500.000,00 (€ 20.896,51) versteigert wurde.
