The work Untitled (Sleeping Princess) by K.G. Ramanujam was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in New York in March 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,257.86), 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by K.G. Ramanujam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Man and Nature); Untitled (Queen); Untitled (Palace Scene) in December 2016 with an auction result of INR 1,500,000.00 (€ 20,896.51).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Sleeping Princess) von K.G. Ramanujam wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.257,86) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von K.G. Ramanujam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Man and Nature); Untitled (Queen); Untitled (Palace Scene) im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 1.500.000,00 (€ 20.896,51).
