Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by K. C. S. Paniker was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2013. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,681.65), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by K. C. S. Paniker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 33,600.00 (€ 49,444.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von K. C. S. Paniker wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.681,65) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von K. C. S. Paniker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 33.600,00 (€ 49.444,67).
