In the Important American Furniture, Folk Art & Decorative Arts auction, the work The 1952 World Series, Yankees Vs. Dodgers: A Set Of Six sold for USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,444.44) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Justin McCarthy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Underwater with Fish and Coral in February last year with an auction result of USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,160.01).
